Ohio

Our second stop was to Ohio! We had a great visit with Charles grandparents, his Aunt Pat, and his cousin Lisa. We had a great dinner that included, corn, fried okra, mashed potatoes, grandmas sweet bread, and a roast. After dinner, we watched some TV and then we played the card game spoons. We had a nice night and then spent the night there. We wanted to get on the road early so we woke up at 5:30 to the smell of bacon! Yumm Grandma and Grandpa had breakfast all ready for us. We had eggs, bacon, sausage, and toast. When we were ready to leave, Charles went to start the car and then say goodbye. After we said our goodbyes and thank yous, we found that we locked the keys in the car, while the car was running! So it is 6am and all 4 of us just looked at each other like now what! Luckily Grandpa Bill has AAA so we called them to come. An hour later, a guy showed up who looked like he was 10. But he had the tools needed to unlock the car. It took him 2 minutes and then we were ready to hit the road and head to St. Louis!
