Our Journey

At 4:00am, one of my favorite Billy Joel songs played on my phone to wake Charles and myself up! We got up, packed a cooler, finished packing the car, and was then escorted by Charlie G to the Belt Parkway. From there we made great time to College Park, MD. I slept most of the way and Charles listened to The Beatles and Zac Brown Band. We checked into the hotel and now we are going to head to Washington, DC. The weather is rainy but we will make the most of the day.
